It was in 1996 that he became a general contractor in California; and after moving to Hawaii with his family in 2004, became licensed in Hawaii and started Dean Bowman Construction, Inc. Because of his expertise in many areas of building and construction, Dean and his crew are able to perform almost all aspects of the building process, in house. This ensures quality construction and keeps the need to hire sub-contractors to a minimum. With 30 years of experience, Dean has worked on an array of different projects from small to large, residential to commercial.
Not enjoying to sit behind a desk, Dean prefers to be on the job site, working alongside his team. Although he does have to spend time in the office bidding and securing materials, he prefers to spend his time on the job site where he can put on his bags and oversee first-hand the quality that goes in to every project.
